Under 10’s
Coached by Dan Thatcher a fully qualifed FA coach, Dan is DBS checked and holds both safeguarding and first aid qualifications. Dan is a really enthusiastic and committed member of the Alderbury management team. He has taken on the Aldebury ethos of being family friendly, fair and inclusive, giving the opportunity for many children to join his team. The under 10’s currently train on a Saturday morning and play in the South Wilts Minin Soccer League on Sunday mornings. Under 12’s
Coached by our Club Chairperson, Dan Molland and fellow coach Sean Block. Both coaches hold all of the required qualifications that the FA require. Dan has been coaching at the club for seven years and Sean is entering his third year coaching. Together they make a great team that are truly focused on allowing the children to develop not only their football ability but also their strength of character. Training on the 3G at Sarum Academy through the winter months and the team plays in the South Wilts Mini Soccer League. This is the U12’s last non competitive year and they have just transitioned to 9 a side football. The team is always looking out for more talent, so drop the club a message if you have a year group 7 child wishing to play football.
Under 14’s AllStars
Lee Jackson is the head coach for the U14’s Allstars. He is fully qualified level 1 coach and has all the required certificates including DBS checked, safeguarding and First Aid. Lee joined the club and took over the U12’s in 2023 season, he led them to becoming runners up in the Testway division 3 last season and now promoted to Division 2, Lee and the Allstars face new challenges in the season ahead. Lee is a fantastic coach that wears his heart on his sleeve, he is highly communicative with his team and has a great sense of boosing morale within his squad. Under 11’s
Alderbury Under 11s play in the South Wilts Mini Soccer League. We play matches on Sunday mornings and for the majority of the season (October – April) train on Wednesday evenings at Sarum Academy. We aim to air football as enjoyable as possible for our squad and it great to see the development of the players individually and collectively as a team. Our enduring principles are teamwork, excellence and respect. We want to play good football, where everyone feels valued, and in the right spirit of the game at all times. We are looking for new players this season so please get in touch with the club if you would like to join our fantastic team.
Under 14’s
Tina Osborn heads up the coaching team for the U14’s. Tina is now in her 7th year of coaching for the club, bringing children that have been playing here as long with her. A truly dedicated member of the club, that has an infectious personality that permeates through her teams hard work. Tina is also a member of the club committee and helps behind the scenes where she can. Tina is a fully qualified level 1 coach and holds all the required elements including, DBS, safeguarding and first aid. Her team have played in the Testway league on a Saturday morning for many seasons and have this season been promoted to Division 1. They presently train on a Friday evening at Sarum Academy on the indoor facility. To inquire about your child joining the U14’s please use our contact us page.
Under 16’s coach: David Harvey
David Harvey is in his first year as head coach of Alderbury FC U16 manager, along with is assistants Duncan Allen and Ben Savage.
David is a fully qualified level 1 coach and has all the required certificates including DBS checked, safeguarding and First Aid.
Having been a parent and running the line as a lineman, watching his son play for Alderbury FC since 2015, David stepped into the position as head coach in May 2024.
Initially David felt petrified about becoming head coach, but after one session of coaching the lads, he found he absolutely loved it and finds it very rewarding.
David said he is lucky to have a great team of young men and he loves their passion for the game and helping them develop as individuals and as a team. Training and match days are the highlight of his week.
Alderbury U16 train at Sarum Academy every Wednesday evening and train on a Saturday when there are no fixtures.
Alderbury U16 play in the Testway league on Saturday mornings.

If you have a youth player interested in joining one of our teams then all you need to do is contact the club. If we don’t have space to be in the match squads we will let you know, we do however have training only contracts so you can be part of the club and wait for a chance to become a full fledged member of the squad.

JOINING A TEAM FAQ’S
- Who do we contact if we want to enrol our child.
Please use the contact form or click the “Join a Team” button on this page. Just make sure you reference which team you would like to join and give as much detail as possible, including their D.O.B and school year.
- How old does my child have to be to play football?
We take children from as young as 6 years old into the club, we will also be setting up a under 6 training package in the coming months.
- When is the registration period?
Usually registration is from May to August, however we accept new sign ons all year round. We will discuss the options with you after you contact us.
- What is included in the registration fee?
In exhange for the fee your player will receive, training once a week and this also covers off site winter training. Match subs at the weekend, a kit, insurance and registration in the leagues.
- How can I register my child?
Once you are accepted into a team the club secretary will set you up on the system and then everything else is automated from there.
- What paperwork do I need to register my child to play football?
There is no paperwork any more, all of our registration is completed online, we will only ask for the relevant details and a passport style photo from you.
- How much are the registration fees?
The fee for the year is £180, this can be paid in one lump, or two £90 payments in September and February, we also accept 9 installments of £20 a month. We have discount for siblings and we also have discounts depending on the time of the season you sign up
